Poor roo...I'm glad you're making him comfortableHe’s laying on my chest, right now, struggling to breathe, but IS breathing, and what could be more comfortable for him, than the love that emanates from me? (He still likes his waddles rubbed)
It’s much more than just a sick bird. Jaffar is the only roo for all the tribe. I wouldn’t be able to control his ladies without him. And he’s a wonderful friend and family member of mine. (I fear for losing him)Poor roo...I'm glad you're making him comfortable

That is very Lilly like behavior. Lilly has been walking around clucking like that for over a week. No egg that I can tell of so far.She was. She eventually went to a nest box for awhile, came out doing the egg/escort song and the whole bit, but didn’t produce anything.

And the reason there’s a tiny container of water is because I don’t want this broody business to kill Millie. I’m gonna let her sit it out, since she’s going to be keeping Ruby company when she passes.
After @Ribh had her Barred Rock turn into a white leghorn I've started getting concerned that Lilly might turn into a Barred rock when she molts this fall.Or the equivalent of trying out a new hair color.
It was never a secret my friend.Sorry Bob, if I spilled the beans about your cherished gift.
That is exactly it. Did Phyllis start a paint one feather another color trend?
