Wet Wattles
I got slo-mo of Maggie dunking her wattles. It was really hot - around 90 degrees - today and I am surprised she didn't go all out and submerge her comb as well.
Gratitude to @BY Bob for showing me slo-mo - I really love it.
That is awesome and a great example of the "stab" drinking method. 👍

Probably SHRA but silverbeet is a dark leafy green that looks a bit like rhubarb but you eat the leaves. Usually cooked so it’s a soggy mass of green on your plate and tastes like cooked grass. :sick
Sounds awful. :sick

Want to play a game?

The game is guess how many eggs my girls produce today!
  • We have 7 chickens, 4 confirmed layers so far
  • All aged 18 weeks
  • The history has been:
    • 1 egg Saturday (light brown)
    • 2 eggs Sunday (green and brown)
    • 3 eggs yesterday (green, brown and speckled)
Guesses accepted until 5pm Eastern!
I'm betting that someone else has come on the lay. 5 eggs is my guess!

He’s laying on my chest, right now, struggling to breathe, but IS breathing, and what could be more comfortable for him, than the love that emanates from me? (He still likes his waddles rubbed)
Steam is supposed to loosen phlegm in humans. Have you tried taking him into the bathroom and have the hot water running so he can breathe in the steam?

Hoping he improves. :fl
