I was hoping that Jaffar’s ailment was a stomach problem. It isn’t that (but putting on a Disney movie helps me throw up any bad food). Was hoping it worked for him. It didn’t! And to all you Disney fans

Hi, Kris! Hugs to you. Thanks for popping in. I look forward to all your visits, no matter how infrequent.Oh my... I’ve missed so much. @micstrachan and @ChicoryBlue, much love and I am so sorry for your losses. And anyone else I’ve missed...![]()
dealing with illness or deaths.
I doubt I’m catching up here anytime soon, but am glad to see everyone is keeping busy. Not much has changed here, I’m a little overwhelmed with everything at the moment, but wanted to stop by and say Hi again. I will likely be an infrequent passerby here for the rest of the summer. I almost re-homed the tribes here and was seriously planning on leaving the farm.
I’ve had my first true Broody hatch and agree with @Shadrach now. Broodies ARE better! I have two more sitting as well and due in around three weeks. Four new healthy layer chicks and the all are looking pretty feminine, for day oldsRoostie is still doing well, and the ladies too for the most part... the weather is still very mild.
I hope everyone is doing well, and taking care of themselves, families, flocks, and fur babies too! (Yes, I know... but “Tribes” would ruin the alliteration)
Thank you.I've been following along on your Ruby updates. Even though I don't always comment, I just wanted you to know that you and Ruby are in my thoughts & prayers![]()

Thank you!You are doing everything you can (and more), she will come back down with Millie when she’s ready
I’m sorry though, it’s so hard when they get to this point and I will be thinking if you both![]()
Thanks, AC.I'm glad she was able to have a nice potter around in the back yard.
Thinking of you and Ruby tonight.![]()
This is so cool!! I'm really beginning to think Australia is another mythical country just like Canada.I really can get close with this one. The bin is up against the door and I put my hand on the bin for balance when I put on my outdoor shoes. This cocky just sits there watching me.
I have a little porcelain jug that I serve the wild bird seed out with. There was a little bit left in the bottom today and I offered it to him. He was quite happy to stick his head in the jug while I held it.
I think in a couple of weeks he may be doing an Olivia and sitting on my shoulder.![]()
It did make me think that using a feed bowl like that for water in the middle of winter may not be such a good idea as she would get frozen wattles if it got very cold. But it is an awesome thing for hot summer days. That is awesome and a great example of the "stab" drinking method.![]()
I'll look around online, thanks! It was never a secret my friend.
@ChicoryBlue I just printed them from my phone on my home printer with photo paper. My daughter uses an online service to print her photos of Eve. I can find out what service she uses if it would help you out or you want a recommendation.
Gorgeous photos, are you using an IPhone or an actual camera? So crisp in focus!Mugshot Monday!
