I wanted Jaffar to come inside with me, but he chose not to. He’s been busy with all the newer birds (Who are big now)
My little Cochin buddy, doesn’t want me anymore. I’m heartbroken!

But he’s doing rooster things, as he should.

Ok… BBB update, apparently Little Dude was not tasty, and so far this pair have not developed a taste for chicken! The little bugger was hiding in a meat tractor and decided he’s had enough socializing today and made a break for the trailer. This is the downside to 61 nearly identical birds mingling Just happy he’s not become dinner prematurely

What a pipe dream. I was hoping that the chooks, would come back to the barn/coop early, so I could get some early rest. But, NOOOO! (They are still all over the property) and it’s going to be a very long day for me tomorrow !

Jaffar, do your darn job already!

Really? Mine are up past 8:00pm now with the longer days. Even Ruby was up way past 7:00 tonight!
