Let local law enforcement know your concerns, (That he has been threatening) and then they may investigate his background. I see no evidence of violence yet in your situation, but if your concerns are “on record”, you have much more leverage in court, if it comes to that.

I have a few messed up neighbors also. But I can bet, everyone has some undesirable people somewhere.

Been trying to load some pictures for a few days, my internet has been sketchy for uploads.
Butters new feathers are really light golden. Is that typical coming in from a wound? She's got an epaulette (?) that goes to on to her left wing, and a spray on her back.
