Feed

I have spread chick starter and grit all over the coop. If/when Phyllis takes her out, there will be easy food to get at.

You could throw some plain chicken feed on the floor. I usually provide a shallow dish for chicks and between the chicks and mum a lot of it ends up oon the floor and the chicks who haven't quite worked out what the bowl is for eat off the floor.

I really don't need it now for just 1 more chicken. But there it is. I'll use it to brood Sylvie but after that..... I don't really have a need. I could squeeze her in the main coop.

True - but you might find more peace in the tribe if Phyllis and Sylvie had their own bedroom.

Sylvie has been eating chick feed off of the floor today. I'll scatter more tomorrow.

And I did say bedroom not bathroom.
