Enjoy the time with your new friends. I know they will be thrilled to see you.

Which shawl? The black and silver, the white, green and blue, or the turquoise? I also have a peacock shawl (wear it all winter, and used it to bash Buster in the back of the head to get him to behave: I had bigger "wings")
This one. I think you said it was for a wedding.
I have a dragonfly shawl pattern I enjoy making but I do like this one.

What breed is Ivy? Her coloring is fantastic !
Bits of this, bits of that. At a guess, Gold Laced Wyandotte + Brahma (or Cochin) + Silkie. I don't know for sure because I was so excited when I brought her home I immediately forgot what I'd been told about her breeding. Also I'm not very fussed about breeds. I prefer a bit of hybrid vigour in the genetics. She's a very sweet and pretty hen who attracts a lot of comments.

I get most of my pattern ideas from Ravelry.com. let me go look. (Btw, I tried to take this to a conversation, but it wouldn't let me, so not sure if it's setting based or I didn't do something right)
