Actually no. I had just lost a cat of 17 years and wasn't sure I wanted another. My daughter wore me down and once I me Éowyn I had to give in. I drove 4 hours to go get her.

Here's mine.
Put your overalls on, the feece lined ones, and go and lock them in manually.
I could never fully trust an auto closer. For a start it would mean that at roost time I would not be certain if all the chickens had arrived homw safely and gone to roost.

That's where my cameras come into play. I can look and make certain everyone is safely roosted and the door has closed.

There are some Princesses who make full use of the lovely shade provided by the Chicken Palace.
And there are others who enjoy the cool damp corner where some water seeps in.

This isn't meant to be a replacement at all. It is meant to be if I cannot be there at the precise moment they want out in the morning.

@RoyalChick did you make the blue ladder from scratch, or purchase and paint? It would be a great ramp for the new coop and I'm likely to steal your idea.
