I think I will file a grievance with the union and consider withholding meal worms until they clear it out.It should be part of your union negotiations.

That’s beyond unfair, actually it’s cruel!I think I will file a grievance with the union and consider withholding meal worms until they clear it out.
18 months is the usual point at which they get rid of them. Their laying starts slowing down at that point.Wow!! That's younger than I expected
Hey they need to live up to their agreements. They would withhold eggs if I didn't do what I am supposed to.That’s beyond unfair, actually it’s cruel!
I’m sure that contract was written in chicken scratch (won’t hold up in Union court) so keep spitting the worm, I have to!Hey they need to live up to their agreements. They would withhold eggs if I didn't do what I am supposed to.
I don’t make this stuff up!But I’m perfect hahaas I lay here with two hens, watching TV in the air conditioning’ watching “The Muppet Show reruns “
I honestly thought 2-3 years old.18 months is the usual point at which they get rid of them. Their laying starts slowing down at that point.
Well done and welcome!Hi Everyone,
I'm only getting started on this thread (on page 143 of over 6000 - soooo much reading left.) I loved the stories and the pic. of all the beautiful ladies!
Here's a 'blast from the past': I make my chickens treats, too - but each time I clean out their feeders, I save the powder at the bottom that they won't eat...and when I make a treat such as @WhoDatChick, I mix in the powdered feed, too. Makes it a bit healthier, AND reduces waste
Well, I can pretend it makes it healthier....kind of like extra tomato sauce on a pizza makes it healthier
Oh my frick, Frick and Frack are adorable! I actually really say “oh my frick!” on a regular basis. Great names!Frick and Frack say good morning.

I'm going to have to come up with a good name for this feisty girl. In the second pic she was preparing to start a fight with her sibling.
