Upside down: thought of adding second board of "nests" inside cage, removed when cage wall down for orphans/ medical use needed....kinda like RC's palace but wall gets raised and clipped to the ceiling so space isn't permanently separated. Thoughts?

Those are detailed plans!
I'm afraid I'm having trouble wrapping my head around them. The only thought that springs to mind is that if the cage door swings up to hook on the roof you would have to make sure there was enough space so that they don't hit the roosts.

Okay okay Jaffar just pecked me , woke me up and said “you’re good, I need my ladies!” So I brought him to the chickens room. Now I’m wide awake. What’s a rooster daddy to do? I did have four hours of sleep. Good enough I guess. I have a special microfiber sheet on my bed (for possible chicken accidents ) my roo never poops on my bed, but let’s not ruin his perfect record! Honestly, Rocks-Anne doesn’t poop in the house either. But these new chickens gonna need years to train the new Rocks, not to leave rocks in the house! Canna (my lovely hen RIP, would only defecate in the sandbox in the chickens room. (How close are all of you to, your beloved feathered family?)
