Surprisingly Belle ate him, Snow is the resident spider eater, maybe Belle needs more protein.
I say this because over the last week or so I’ve been finding a few of these…

Maybe she is having a weirdly early moult if I take into account the fluff feathers in the nest box. She’s about 11 months old. And it’s spring here so a little strange if so.
:barnie They always keep you guessing, I’ll just ride it out a bit longer and keep watching…she is my strange baby girl I guess so anything is possible.

How big is that spider? Once I saw Dorothy dismember and consume what I thought was a trapdoor spider (maybe 3.5-4 inches across?) in seconds! It was impressive!

If his legs were out straight he would have covered the palm of my hand (3&1/2 inch maybe).
Maybe what I found were tiny baby huntsmans and he was a she 🤔
Yes, it was all over within 5 seconds I reckon 😂
