We get those too. There was a big one in Idaho a while ago, kid standing in the middle of the room didn't notice. Those of us leaning against the wall (inside the house, but exterior wall) BOUNCED off it. Most of the quakes here come off of Yellowstone (and are under 3.0). Not that one, I think it was close to 6, and hit in the middle of Idaho.

Thank you. We did round the corners on the treads, maybe I should go at them again with a sander to smooth out more?

I think by batten the roof, it means secure perpendicular to the rafters as well? I hope this is sufficient... we do get winds related to hurricanes on occasion View attachment 2854596View attachment 2854597

Sorry I didn't make myself clear. The battens should go on top of the plasic roof and sat in the dip where the fixings are. one at each end, full width of the plastic and one at every join in the sheets. Is that clear now?

That's why lots of little ones (along with all the geothermal activity) are good. Vents out most of the pressure before it builds up too much.

Sooo, all the EX Batts are red sex links although there are a couple who are very blond in looks but not in attitude I might add, who have some "odd" genes.
There are two straight legbars and two legbar and Marans crosses.
The black hens are not Marans. Still not sure what they are. Both are fairly stropy in demeanor.

This grey hen has feathered feet. Does this make anyone wiser?

This young hen has become my mobile trip hazzard.

Croag Langshan & French Marans both have feathered feet ~ but I suspect she is probably a mix. The neighbours have a Langshan & they have a very upright stance, like my Campines. Hard to tell from your pic what her general posture is usually like.

What about public records? Obituary or death certificate?

I have to wait another two years before death certificates are available. I’m thinking about it, but I’ll see how I feel in two years.
