I'm sure Ruby cherished all those extra days with you, even though she was unwell. If she was completely miserable she would have told you. Don't forget all of the good days she had since her diagnosis, more days to live like a chicken and enjoy the world.

Platina isn't completely healthy now, but she eats, excretes, and is trying to stand even though her body isn't ready. She's still fighting so I will too.

Yes, please do fight for Platina while she fights for herself. I forget if you’ve tried a chicken sling? It would let her exercise her legs while the sling supports most if her weight.

@micstrachan you can post about Ruby anytime. How often do I talk about Daisy, the greatest hen ever, or Patsy, or Elphie, on and on. It is good to remember and we are a community that understands and can appreciate your remembrances.

Hen-Rietta wil stare down poor Emily, until em, backs away. Not really fighting, but Emily is such a sweet hen and doesn’t deserve such treatment. (Usually only happens when I’m present) all the birds pine for my personal attention. Jealousy runs rampant in my tribe of 12

Not yet, although I'm not sure she'd be enthused about being kept in one Spot. My main concern would be the pooping, but I'll look into their construction.
