Indeed it would. She's also a very good artist but not, I don't think, a particularly nice person. She doesn't keep chickens.

Just got back from the vet with Ruby. She has sequestered fluid in her upper abdomen. She is also fat. The doctor does not suspect cancer, because of her good condition and feathering. She does, however suspect advanced oviductal disease. So we’re treating for that, since she did so well last year. If she does well, she may need a second implant later in the season, since it’s earlier in the year this time.

That feels like good news, right?

The great problem with video clips is while they show the subjects the important observation is often what everybody else is doing.
The peck at the ground and then lift head and peck at each other is fence fighting.
Nobody I've read or spoken to knows why chickens fence fight and more interesting, why some do and some don't.
What is also interesting is once the fence is removed in the majority of cases no fighting ensues.

You're going to rule out an awful lot of people with that criteria.

It won't go wrong. You are an experienced keeper & very patient. Shad is not off the hook either. It was Phyllis he voted against...

It was and is. The better bit is I'm wrong a lot.
I sincerely hope you can get it to work Bob. As you know, I'm not a fan of mixed flocks, despite having one here to all intents and purposes now.
I'm concerned about Phylis mostly. Peoples whose opions I respect have mixing polish with other breeds down as a definite no. It doesn't mean it can't work and I'm sure people can cite examples of where it has in their flock.
It's a bit like game roosters in a mixed flock. Some people get it to work it seems but most experienced keepers where I live at least will tell you it just isn't worth the trouble.
