There is a big difference between targeted advertising and an e-mail about caring for furry animals. It sounds like the email might have been from a BYC moderator perhaps?

I don't know if I should out myself as a total egg nerd, but I actually have an app for tracking my flock's egg laying.
It makes it really easy to keep track of how much everyone is laying (assuming that one can recognize whose egg is whose).

I am hoping I can grow it from seed. Does it spread nice and fast (I mean when the chickens aren't destroying it)?

Oxalis is a weed here in Australia and is very hard to get rid of once established in the garden. When it is pulled up, all the extra little bulbs fall off and create new plants.

I expect it should spread fast for you.

I think Agatha is lacking calcium. I give them oyster shells and occasionally egg shells I think I have to now add the supplements again

When Dotty needs a nap it has to be NOW! She was running from A to B on some urgent chicken business (don’t ask!) and the sun came out and wham she is out like a light!

It composts and the heat kills off any worm eggs that might be in there.

I've just bought another compost bin to keep in the chook run specifically for chook poo. That way I can dispose of the coop droppings without worrying about the dogs checking it out to "clean up".

My Beautiful Beethov-Hen is in trouble. She’s got an egg inside and wants it out. I’m here with her now, massaging her fluffy everything. She tried to lay in the coop, but couldn’t. What ever it takes, I’m not losing my best hen!!

This is a first for me!!!!! As soon as I tied down the animal carrier to the back seat of my SkyHawk, I noticed Beethoven-Hen had laid her egg . Had to have been the time between my car, and loading her on the plane. She seems to be okay. (I hope that I didn’t scare her too much) and I hope that I didn’t scare any of you either. Sorry I’m taking her home now. But I’m having her sleep in the house with me tonight.

I'm so glad she was able to sort it out herself.
