I wonder if she got stuck somewhere?Plati's feathers broke when she kept flapping. They kinda snapped off, no blood. So I know one cause would be blunt trauma to the Feathers.

We’re those old feathers or newly grown? My ladies are obsessively bathing at the moment and I am wondering if the friction helps remove old feathers Like a loofah. Could it be the effects of a vigorous session with a loofah maybe?I wonder if she got stuck somewhere?
That looks like a disagreeable hen to me....I'll red ahead but look at her face and hackles! That's one intense chicken. But she is really lovely nonetheless.Is Pepper disagreeable when broody?

Trouble is a good name, it the shoe fits....I'm going to have to find a name for this young hen. Trouble is she looks very like four of the others.
