The best example is that Aurora flipped over a big stick while scratching around and everyone jumped and looked around. That is really not normal for them. They are jumpy.
Well wouldn’t you be? Correct that, I bet you are!

No photos. sorry. I am so non-techy it isn't funny! No cell phone, nothing. Just recently got a digital camera, and the beak thing was late spring.
 
Alright, the chooks have been fed. A mixture of scrambled eggs and steak, with corn 🌽 and a handful of meally worms mixed in. They truly do eat better than I do! (But I’m bbqing tri tip steak tonight ) and the birds are not getting any of it!
Speaking of the tri tip… anybody have suggestions on how to make it great? I’m having the few deputy sheriff friends over for dinner this evening, and while they “talk shop” I will be talking about bbqs steaks, and all about my chickens.
