You need to make a pinhole in one end of the egg so the rapidly expanding gas can escape. The air heats (and expands) quicker/more than the shell. If you allow some of that rapidly expanding gas (air) to escape♨️, the pressure doesn't build up , hence no explosion! [Nothing quite like cleaning splattered egg guts off the micro, eh :sick?]
It was an attempt of being poached, it worked in my old microwave I tried twice on different settings and they both exploded :(

I sent ages cleaning that microwave.

Bless him he looks like a greyhound, give him some more
I wouldn’t want to deprive “Levi” of his dinner. (This is Levi) My brother’s buddy. He’s relaxing on my brother’s yacht, in Washington State. 40D0FC00-65F1-4C24-B4E6-A63D6F948740.jpeg

There's approximately 45 feral chickens that visit my yard on a daily basis. Around 10 of them (including Chickadee) choose to live in my backyard and roost in the trees. They are free to come and go as they please, but choose to call my backyard their home 💕 It's flattering to know that of all the places they could live, they choose to stay here.
It may be too much to ask for but I wouldlove to see a picture of them roosting in the trees.
45 is quite a lot of feathered vistors a day.
