I have considered it. I'm not certain it would go well at all with Sansa and her in the same crate. I'm going to talk it through with the vet but I have looked Sylvie over pretty good and I can see nothing wrong with her at all. I'm not certain what the vet could see without and xray or blood test. Why would she do those without a reason to do so?
Two crates.
Sometimes all there is to show the hawk struck is a couple of small puncture wounds. A lot depends on the hawk, if there was a hawk strike.
Part of the problem is you don't know why Legertha died.
 
I've been doing a bit on this little ones beak. The overgrown edges are gone now and what was flat is at least more rounded now.

Is it just my eyesight or is the top beak shorter than the bottom beak?
Is that what they do when the cut the beaks?
I think normal is for the top to be longer. Is that right? It is dark here now so I will need to look in the morning.
