I have an idea I have recordings of my chooks. One (of Jaffar’s crowing) and the ladies egg songs. Next time I have to call the nurses station, I will use one, or more of those recordings over the intercom.

Tina is having her feathers pecked

I saw flexi doing this yesterday, but it was sort of like she's was grooming her.
Would anyone have any suggestions what I can use to stop it?

At night flexi cuddles her so I don't think she's being mean

You are certain it wasn't just grooming?

I still cannot believe that they did not come out. Before this they would have gleefully been running all around the yard.

That's a good thing thought isn't it. Far better they learn more caution.
Thye know their security is better when you are there and that is a correct view.
I would be a lloot more worried if you had found them wandering around.

Ummmm, I only saw 1 red comb.....the other one, all I saw was a bunch of fluffy feathers, no comb, though

Sansa, as always, looks lovely in this headshot. I know it is still quite early...but can you see any improvement in her feathers yet? I know more weight was a very good thing....but am still a bit worried about her with the cold.

I see absolutely no improvement in feathers. None. I too am worried. Luckily it has not been cold enough to freeze water in a week or so.
