Oh no! What did you find?I figured that I wouldn’t be getting any chicks from Arizona. She’s a good little hen, but so young too. Maybe none of those eggs were fertile, or maybe a stray cat got the babies, I don’t know, I wasn’t here. Arizona is still grieving about her eggs. And this bird needs a bath really bad!Too cold to give her one. She’s in the chickens room for tonight.
Found an empty nest where eight eggs should have been found. I was in hospital, and couldn’t monitor Arizona’s progress.
I’m sure that my chickens love the company of my church friends! (More treats)
Maybe my Christmas isn’t going to be disappointing after allMy church friends are surely taking care of me. I was just given two lbs of smoked salmon, a huge tri tip pork roast, fresh vegetables and tomato, orange, apple, and carrot juices. Loaf of homemade bread (sourdough, my favorite) and they are coming back over tomorrow morning to start my smoker for the tri tip. (I think they like to see my chickens)
