My being up early, is of no concern. When Jaffar starts crowing, I awake and listen. If Arizona is inside, I’m forced to feed her , and put up with the stupid TV shows she prefers!

Ok well chore time and see if the chooks want to play on the manure pile. They might not get any other chances till Wednesday, supposed to back to crazy lows tomorrow again.... Poor chickies I am sure they hate the cold....

You're up early!

Are they trying to keep birds from eating produce? Spent some time in Yuma AZ where they grow tonnes of produce, and hay! I was surprised to see Red Wing Black birds there, we have them here all summer. (So much so I was worried about them transmitting disease to my chickens, they are not shy about eating their food!)

We have a Migratory Bird Act here which stops people from shooting birds, the fines are very stiff.

Be careful! I can find you, and I have an airplane! (Maybe I should have dropped off those steaks to Bob (Air dropped) against all FAA regulations

I was thinking of you. How's the move going?

its not,, We had that bad snow storm and the snow over at the new house all last week was 2 feet and the power was out over there from Mon.-Fri.
the temp have gone up and it has been raining, down by Kelso and Centralia it is all flooded,,
but I am hopeful the folks are now able to move

A Memory
Everyone who reads here regularly will recognize that Aurora truly hates the snow. Well 3 years ago Aurora was not in charge. Her sister Maleficent was. So great was Maleficent's hold on her that Aurora would go out and explore the snow with her.

Mal always had that 1 tail feather that seemed out of place. So endearing.
