Does this mean I win? 9 months of winter, 5 months of road construction? This went on all winter last year. @RoyalChick lives in a terrible place where it never warms up and winter lasts until May apparently.
You definitely win(?). Last year was unusually bad here. Hopefully not to be repeated.Does this mean I win? 9 months of winter, 5 months of road construction?
They (meteorologists) are always doing that. We joke that they're secretly run by monkeys (the little ones, not the larger ape like ones)Yup, all very familiar! We are supposed to only have one more day of this and then get more acceptable temperatures next week. Here's hoping the meteorologist isn't just trying to humour us!
You need to read a book calls The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It's punny with a twist.Weather here is like this. Weather or not, I should get up and feed the chooks. ?![]()
Be careful! I can find you, and I have an airplane! (Maybe I should have dropped off those steaks to Bob (Air dropped) against all FAA regulations
Monkeys wouldn't make as many mistakes they are to intelligentThey (meteorologists) are always doing that. We joke that they're secretly run by monkeys (the little ones, not the larger ape like ones)
Little about myself. When I was very young, my dad bought me a model wood airplane (which I had to build) but when I was finished with it, it took off and flew into the sky. At that moment I knew I would be an aviator. I did love my dad, and I love my Cessna SkyHawk! RIP dad, and thank you again!![]()
They are helpful creatures only bloody minded evil people would do such a thing. It's a nuanced license of permission and wildlife advocates are going to be watching the impact. Glad it's not here in the States, crows would be obliterated. The presence of crows is helpful to chickens and chicken-caretakers, I think. They patrol the skies and give warnings.
We have to find ways too scare off these predators. Like all bullies they can be cowardly to@Bob - I spent some quality time with the gang doing predator watch while they scratches around some hay I threw out on the snow. Paranoid since seeing that Bald Eagle!!!!
