I love you folks so much that I must come to see your wonderful country. You are all great people and represent you homeland well. I need to meet the people in person who can live where everything is trying to kill them and still have such a wonderful outlook on life.Come on! You love us

We are going to start collecting dream tax unless the dream was about a chicken.

Mrs BY Bob picked it out. I just installed it. I will let her know how much you like it.That's a really lovely floor I may copy that over this part of the world![]()
That is truly a unique but I imagine very effective strategy.Around here we find it easier to clean out poop when it's all frozen into little icebergs beneath the roost. It all comes out in one, hard-as-a-rock blob. No fuss no muss!
Who knew my videos were so disruptive as to need to be blocked!Bob, this is filtered out at work. I’ll check it out later.
My dream/ my nightmare!
It can be really hard to engage on the socials when things are tough.
It might be because most people display a sort of false positivity on social media. I try not to do this. Honesty is hard sometimes, but it makes social platforms more welcoming of those who are living through nightmares.
I try not to do that too much, FB gets pretty darn toxic, opposed to most of the people here. I mean this thread and chicken friends are awesome, but I’ve seen some pretty nasty stuff here on BYC too (mostly the preadator and meat bird forums). So I don’t want to burden anyone, or seem overly negative, add in all of the overwhelm and… not good. Some people are not necessarily portraying false positively" in my personal approach I don't like making people feel depressed, life is tough enough
So as a rule i try to keep my upsets too myself online and in my life here
I will only share a fraction with those who i feel can be trusted and those I feel have respect for other people's feelings plus whatever circumstance...
We all have hard times, that's all part of life unfortunately.
As the English say, stiffer upper lip. Not that I agree with that at all.
Hello Bob. I am a forever lurker. You are a very good story teller. I am going to be very frugal on commenting or replying on this thread because I am currently at page 1960, and I don't want to give myself more to read.Alarm!
While I was filming the girls snacking the other day, Hattie sounding warning and Aurora picked it up. This video is 3 minutes long. They stood stock still for almost the entire 3 minutes. Hattie had 1 foot only 1/2 way on the ground and she never finished her step. You will see Hattie and Aurora on my right with Sansa frozen behind the pool heater. Sydney was to my left.
The initial alarm sound (a short squeak repeated once), which is not loud, came from Hattie and then Aurora takes charge, makes the loud warning and maintains what I call the "rumble".
I've been suspecting for some time that Aurora has been picking up more Sentinel duty from Hattie. This may be an example of them working together while on duty.
