OMG awesome! I am going to use that sign on my next projectI have a sign. @Blazinga safety chicken! I still hit my head. The other day my good got hooked on the door latch for the Cluckle hut and I nearly hung myself! It's dangerous in there!View attachment 2997579
She's here!!!!!
I will not know her color until she dries off. There is a lot of gold feathers all over her, so she is either Buff or Partridge. The silkie black skin for a second had me thinking for a split second that Poppy had laid a egg before her passing.
Yes, Phyllis had just laid the day before, not likely she laid that day then, or at that time!I’m going with Aurora, Sydney and Bettynice eggs ladies!
It fairly grinds along. What's that mirror doing up there above the door?I put in this door today

Those of you with auto door, how noisy/loud is yours?
It is so 40°F here and the wind is still howling. Everything we got was rain but snow flurries keep popping up on my weather alert. I don't know how that happens at 40°F.Thanks for the update.

Wonderful photos!I lost track. Is it Friday? Here are some contributions from a few days ago when Dotty still had a tail feather and now when it is gone. And starting with an artfully out of focus Maggie fluff.

I bet they were restless, well soon spring time and it will be nicer, hopefully not too much rain. I am sure you group is as restless as mine for better weather and some serious sun bathingIt is so 40°F here and the wind is still howling. Everyone is either in the big run or the main coop today. The locations most shielded from the wind.
Lilly also could not sleep last night. Everytime I was up, she was up wandering around the coop. The wind was very loud.
You can see Hattie in front of the window and up on the high roost Sydney is wide awake as well.

Digging seems necessary for chickens to be happy in my opinion. I have a problem with “gold diggers “ though. I get a few around here. There you go. I think digging is very important to their sense of well being. I love watching them dig around.
