The Ador beeps and makes a humming noise as it lowers. Loud enough that the ladies know but not loud. Why is yours loud?

Yes, I thought it was hideously loud at first, but I had the panel open. It is definitely quieter with the front cover closed, but still louder than I would prefer. That said I was laying in bed half asleep this morning listening for it and didn't hear when it opened.

It fairly grinds along. What's that mirror doing up there above the door?

Yup you did say nonsense, and I caught that after I hit reply. Honestly though, Aurora's behavior surprised me. Of all your hens she is the last one I would think who would willing share a box and not start a fight.

I noticed that too. Compared to how she manages roosting time, Aurora was amazing. So seemingly accommodating and courteous!
