How is the wee gal today? Poor Arizona...
Maybe she’ll be okay, if I can keep her slowly moving and not agitating the leg.
(She has no problem pooping) I’m talking with her, trying to make her feel better.
I called her a Pullet-zer prize winner! And she squawked about it.

Another good one 😊

Sounds like she should be ok...

Just reading up on the latest with the avian influenza.

I am now keeping the gals confined to the barn. It might be a false sense of security seeing as how the horses are in and out....

Also there’s the whole wild bird issues… and I don’t know how bad your Barn Swallow infestations are but they are worse than the mice here. All our barns and outbuildings have big gaps. The chicken trailer is pretty small bird resistant, I’m just hoping for the best here and dealing with the mites etc as they crop up, but the bird flu is IMO more scary than the big “C”

There is something about seeing this comment… posted at 3 am my time, that always makes me feel lazy for keeping everyone locked up until it’s good and light out!
Hahaha

I am up at 5am, eat and out by 6 to kick horses out (still dark haha) and feed chickies 💖

....and I was late getting in to work, I like to be here by 7:30... 7:35 today hahah

This is Bunny. And yes Bunny is on my couch on top of 2 loads of clean laundry that I have not had time to fold this morning. I've mentioned in the past that Bunny takes advantage every time she spots a open window or door to come inside. She is determined the couch is where she needs to lay her egg. It is almost 70 today, I want my doors and windows open. After throwing her out 10 times already we gave up. Threw a hospital chuck pad down and she is happy.
