Wish we could have seen Lily riding the duck's back.
That was one shocked duck.

She chested one into the pool one day. He was standing on the side looking the other way. She ran up to him, hit him with her chest and sent him sprawling into the pool. Hysterical. :gig

I was pleased yesterday when Sansa ran the Male off of the deck. Lilly needs a yard protecting protege.

I do not have ducks. They are wild and use my pool cover as a pond every spring. Lilly keeps them in line. They try to eat the chicken's food. Lilly runs them off. She once even got on top the male duck one time and rode him for a while, all the time pecking at his head. It was quite a site. I was so surprised I did not think to record it.

Lilly runs this yard. No squirrels or ducks allowed on land, for sure.
Lilly is the flock protector! She has sort of taken on the roll of the rooster. :D
I'm going to have to speed up that tile project.

Well, you certainly have the time now. Have the tile?

Lilly has been doing this since she arrived and was last in the pecking order. Stay out of her yard!

Chickie appears to be feeling quite well this morning!
