Oh that's how it starts, getting them to sit up there looking all cute 💖🤗

I am talking both little girls and chickies, next thing you know you can't get them off the horse!!
Oh I definitely think I started something. Her mom was worried that once she got up on his back she would panic. Well, there was only one way to find out. We sat her up there, and had him stand for a few minutes while she was petting him. She was enjoying it so off we went. Me and her mom were on either side of her while I had ahold of both her and Russ. Thankfully Russ knows voice commands as well. 20 minutes later when it was time to get off, she did not want too. Afterwards she helped Rosie brush him down after we got him untacked. All it took for Rosie was 1 lap around the ring at about 20 months old for her love of horses to begin which led to the wanting of a pony. It was all I heard for years out of her and other people saying I should get her one. If Serenity starts that, well, It will be fun being on the OTHER side of that dilemma. As I told her mom last night, "at least you got 4 years before the obsession started".

They do go for ground-up eggshells, they eat that regularly.
Mine eat egg shells very well.
Check if they are actually eating the oyster shell - I am pretty sure now that the oyster shell is not getting touched here.
I've seen a few pecking at it, but not much.
Why are you feeding All Flock? For the protein? Roosters? Non-laying hens?
I feed AF for the protein. I used to have a rooster too; he died a couple weeks ago.

I found one other soft shelled mess on the poop board a few days after the first one, but that's it. No egg mess on any bums, and no egg eating either. Yay!!!

And risk the wrath of mama hen?
This is her being nice as I give her more eggs. You should’ve seen her go at me on pulling her out of the tiny nest box and then trying to relocate her into the crate. She doesn’t care which way she faces, where she sits… she just turns into a puffy, bitey, stationary lump. She will poop, eat, and drink maybe every 5 days. She responds just like this to attempts to hand water or feed her as well. But she won’t break, she’s crazy determined when she decides to sit, and she’s a great mama.

Edit to add: that noise is her striking my hand, she wasn’t missing, and yes it hurts a little. Not as much as the two solid bites and attempts to tear in the aforementioned moving process
I love a good mama hen.
