But where is Phyllis???Here's the video.
I have very few pictures of chickens mating. What is interesting is Cillin and Notch don't hang on to the hens neck feathers for longer than it takes to get their balance. This is something I assume they learn through practice. Both are much better at foot placement as well. Please everyone, just avert your eyes. It is perfectly natural, there is no need to stare!
No it isn't okay. Neither is constant rounds of antibiotics.Hope she feels better soon so you can too .. I don't know so just asking - Is long tern aspirin okay. I know i could cause stomack upset in people
It's quite difficult to get a good picture of chickens mating. It's all over very quickly. I was lucky I had the camera in my hand and saw Tackle crouch for Cillin. It took me a bit to realise there was a hen under there!
A priceless video Bob and very funny. Here's the video.
Good question. I think she was in the coop. I believe she is showing interest in the nesting boxes. She went in a couple times during the day yesterday. But where is Phyllis???
Typically, I would agree. As you all know I am opposed to the indiscriminate use of antibiotics. However I and others have no access to a vet. I will not let my hen pass because I can't get to a vet to prescribe an antibiotic.Antibiotics, as prescribed by a vet. Nobody on this site should be advising on their use.
I love how they finally puzzle it out. They were very determined the 2 of them. They kept running the others off. This is their special stash. The weather was nice enough yesterday to leave the door open as well without freezing.A priceless video Bob and very funny.
