Good morning all! It's Pony Sunday 😊

Yesterday morning when I checked the barn cams before doing morning chores I had to play 'Find Waldo', I forgot to put the snap on Truly's stall door latch and of course she know how to open the door and escaped....

At least she has stopped dragging everything around the barn when she escapes 😊

Ok Truly were are you?

Don't forget it's Pony Sunday horse people! I can't wait to see some pictures! Eve is here and she loves horse and goat pictures
Good morning Bob and Eve 💖

I will take some pony pics 😊

Ok time to clean stalls! Catch you later 🤗

Princess is back in the main coop. She's being a good girl except in the mornings when she causes havoc as usual in the run and screaming my neighbours awake. I'm thinking of getting a silencer for her loud beak 🤔

I was just saying this morning how noisy my gals were! And whoever thought that hens were more quiet than roosters hahaha.

Same thing happened to me this afternoon - I dropped a chocolate chip and Nightshade grabbed it before I couldget to it. I looked up and it seems like one Ghiradelli chocolate drop is not going to kill a cat but I am keeping an eye on him.
Wow one has to be so careful - and they move so fast!

I have come to the conclusion that most anything they eat in small quantities is likely not going to hurt them, as long as it not ongoing. Of course there are those things that are toxic in small quantities that freak me out.

Ummm not as isolated but you are literally hauling hay out by hand??? Wow, you’re dedicated! And we are going to need to see more pictures of the land too; It sounds absolutely beautiful! And yes, goats are definitely little devils with beards and furs, and don’t forget the pointy bits! All the better to stab a person innocently bringing them their branches for the barn! I tried to find some pictures that show both the setting, and picking the hay.
We don't have that much, the land is steep, and it's been fun doing it the old way...when we are many.
When there's only the two of us we do it one patch of land at at time when the weather allows it and the grass is right.

That is how they did it in newfoundland when my grandmother was a girl.

It was the girls' job to cut and make hay 😊 the men and boys were out on the fishing boats.
