I can't post today there's a mountain of problems here that I'm trying my hardest to resolve in my home as well with Agatha.
There's someone smoking the worst ever stuff and it's seeping into my pantry air ducts and extractor fans also into my neighbours homes. Agatha is indoors and we really can't breathe this air . If this person did it in another part of his home we wouldn't be suffering but him and his friends are creating toxic air.
I will delete this post soon as its so personal

I'm looking in to see if Alex @featherhead007 has had the results back. He is on my mind to

I really need advice from services here but can't contact right now. I have asked this man so many times not to smoke where it is infecting our air
That's terrible, you need to get your other tenants together to write a formal complaint regarding the poor air quality.

At any rate I am thinking of you, I will check in later to see how you are.

I'm waiting for you my friend.

Agatha died in my arms 😢
She had a little time in the garden before passing.
I've added pictures to my last post
I'm sorry for your loss, she was so precious to you. She left surrounded by love, and she will no longer suffer. I believe it was her time to leave, I hope you find confort knowing you did everything you could for her.

Coop mayhem: I went back out to give the kids some ramen noodles. Jaffar jumped in, right as I threw the noodles down, and he was wearing a new noodle jacket that hung down like a vest on him. I had to hold him, and remove the noodles. I didn’t have my iPhone at the time. Poor Jaffar. How humiliating being the main course of a Chinese breakfast. They are all okay now.

It is not a laying issue as she does not lay unless she is laying internally. I did see a suggestion for epsom salt soaks. She has been getting one once a week since the mass was spotted. She is pooping normally but due to it's location I have to give her butt a wash to keep her feathers from getting nasty. She enjoys them and relaxes as soon as I put her down in the tub. The mass is just growing, I can tell it is bigger each time she gets a soak. It is firm, and there is no heat to it at all.

I will say I'm nearing my breaking point with my grandmother whether she realizes it or not. I'm dealing with her getting mad at me but when she told my daughter Saturday she hated her and kids in general I'm done.
:hugsYou’re doing everything you possibly can for Grandma, but it may get to the point where you just aren’t able to care for her in your home. There reaches a point where it is easier and sometimes better for everyone for “strangers” to do the caring for people with advanced stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s. And that point is different for every family. It’s similar to being in a relationship with an abusive partner in some ways… but with a parent or grandparent there is usually more feelings of attachment. Eventually you will get to a point where your grandmother isn’t your grandmother anymore, and is more the illness. If you every need to chat or vent there are a few of us who have gone through or are going through similar situations, it’s far more common than most people realize. 💜💜💜 know you’re doing great in dealing with this, no matter how it goes. You and your family are in our prayers, here, including Grandma too. It’s an awful disease that steals the people we know and often replaces them with the worst aspects of their personality. I’ve been struggling a bit of late with my mother in this as well. The downright venomous nasty things that people with dementia say… I hope Rosie is able to understand it’s the disease talking, and it’s not her fault. :hugs:hugs:hugs

Thank you all for your support everyone. I wish it was just the lashing out but there is more to it as well. Under supervision and making sure she was taking her medicine on time and the right dose last month her bloodwork had shown for the first time in years her A1C was down to a 7.4. Keep in mind it had been at a 10 for ages. The doctor told her he was proud of her and it was great and to keep it up. She is taking it as a personal challenge to do whatever she can to blow that. Sneaking food, eating spoonful's of sugar and trying to bribe anyone and everyone to bring her junk. Then acting like she does not know why she has a blood sugar reading over 300. We also are having extreme difficulty getting her to take a bath. Mention taking a shower, "I can't right now, I'll do it after I take a nap". I'm lucky if I can get her to take one twice a week. It is just quickly becoming too much.
I’ve never quite understood the bathing thing… we had that with my Grandma too, and now it’s starting to show in my mother. Roll in any bathroom challenges like “accidents” and the diabetes… you can literally have fungal issues developing under flaps of skin. Even with privacy and safety measures like stools and grab bars and handheld curb less showers, it’s still a struggle. And I do wonder if there is some underlying reason to this as it seems to be a fairly common issue? My grandma wouldn’t flush the toilet or pour coffee or any coloured liquids down the sink because “the neighbours might see the water and know it was hers” my mom was living with her in a 55+ apartment complex at the time.

Chickens Fly, and so do Chicks

today was pretty wild at Fluffy Butt Acres and it all started with these two videos. The first one is long but don't quit too early or you will miss the payoff.

This video is sweet because Ned/Nanette tries to join his/her Mum.
I love this BFTP! :love:love

It is clear right from the start Sydney wants to fly up...she keeps checking 'up' like she is sizing it up during the entire video!

And poor Lucky, sizing up the stool from every angle to decide where she can actually get up from! lol, so cute!

And poor Ned: such an heroic attempt, but, alas, far short that time. I

f I remember correctly, it wasn't too much longer before they all ended up in the tree...maybe a week?🤔

These pictures were taken minutes before she left me
She died in my arms 😢

I let the girls see for them too understand, flexi was really taken aback and couldn't go near her, I think she knew Princess looked and Tina really understands

Lovely photos of her, Marie. I'm glad she got to pass peacefully in your arms, and that you let the other girls know...I think that is so important.
