That happened only after Mrs BY Bob went to bed. Then he switched his attention to me. When I got home yesterday he was perched on her shoulder.I think I foretold Enzo would end up yours - along with Davis & the cougar!![]()
Lovely! Why don't the Irises bloom? I have wild irises - called blue flags - and they basically take over everything. I love them! They only bloom for a short period but the rest of the time they provide very lush greenery. It's Friday, and I had a little bit of cooperation this week. View attachment 3161282Storm

How is your lovely boy going Barb?Or, a tiny flat head when you need a big one, or a big one when you need a little one!
Hmmm, at this rate, I'm going to need to take more pics to keep up to date on my taxes. Recycled ones will have to do for now:

A very good boy that I am going to have to put down.He is only a year old, and near as I can tell, he has Mareck's.
All my chicks have been vaccinated and/or hatched on site....no birds brought in but vaccinated chicks, so I am not sure how he got it, but it seems to be the classic symptoms and I can find no other reason. He can't use his legs. I have been working with him trying to supplement vit. B and exercising legs 2 x per day...and it has gotten worse, not better. Poor guy, he is sweet and was a good boy to the girls..... this is so hard, but, watching him quietly yesterday...I realized that I was so attached that I ignoring the obvious. He initially (quite suddenly - after a fight with another roo) was very weak in the legs and I brought him inside to protect him and work with him (initially thinking it was pain from injuries.) Despite my efforts, legs are worse...now he has no control of lower legs at all, no reflex nor grip motion with feet, nothing.
He does have a will to live....but it is no life not being able to move. He can't even tip himself from one side to the other with his legs when laying...he has to use his wings. These pics were from March.

Sorry Marie I don’t know much about it. I read the data sheet and it sounds fine except for mollusks so important not to pour it into a waterway.I hope you can give me some input on esp I'm hoping it's not harmful to cats or other creatures I need prevention and cure![]()
They're around the base of a tree that leafs out quickly enough they're in shade EARLY. The ones inside the garden fence are blooming and get more sun. No idea what possessed previous owner to plant them there. All of them need to be dug up and thinned. Daffodils would do better as they bloom earlier, or shady loving plants like bleeding hearts. Moving the irises out to the rose patch would be good: lots of sun/room. I just need to do it.Lovely! Why don't the Irises bloom?
