Excuse me!
Apparently Lulu had never heard of Fluffy Butt Friday. She isn’t too impressed.

I often have trouble posting pictures. When I swear they seem to go in alright, I don't know whyApologies… it was a long day, in the sun fencing… then these two little babies… brain is still a little scrambled from this heat (for us delicate west coasters) cattle invasions, etc. Can you believe after all that fuss and days of working to secure my feed, they want to move the cows back to the other end of the property again?days of frantic hard work in the sun for less than one day of grazing??? At least I’ll be able to get back to productive things… tax photo isn’t loading
I think I foretold Enzo would end up yours - along with Davis & the cougar!Trapped
I need to go to bed but this one is sleeping on me. What to do what to do.

I noticed my cousin's older hens are in bed by 8pm, and thus get the prime locations to roost hahaYes, let me take a look through our photo files, although we are definitely not in Northern Lights season currently. More like midnight sun season!
Last summer I had such a hard time getting my one year old chickens to go to bed. They wanted to party in the sun, I wanted to close up the coop, turn on the electric fence and go to sleep! This year as mature two year old ladies, they are on the roost all settled by 7:30 - 8:00 pm!![]()
