It's too hot for mine to only have layers mash or ferment . flexi would die if I don't offer anything else. I'm hand feeding her layers wet .

You can add water to the layer mash and give her that. Cold water...or wet the mash and put it in the fridge to chill...then feed. She will be okay with that...and chilled will help with the heat.

I threw crushed ice to my gals last year and they loved it!! Personally I don’t like cold things But the chickies

i put gallon containers of water in the fridge and use that to top up their waterers or make their mash. They seem to like it.

Between us, we would make a good pair..I'll take the really cold stuff, you can take the really hot stuff, we can share the middle!

I love the heat but can’t sunbathe, I turn into a lobster hahahaha my pasty white legs stay pasty year round!!!

Oh I looooooove a hot cuppa of strong tea with honey and bit of canned milk (carnation milk)

It hasn’t been hot enough here to worry, we had about 5 hot days so far - it’s been cooler than normal. Which is fine for the horses and chickies.
