Thank you. I never much thought about what kind of chickens Patsy and Lilly might be. The story of how we wound up with them is interesting. I will post it later. I honestly have just considered them mutts. I will say this, Patsy gets more red lacing each time she molts. This year it has started showing up on her wings. If you look close in this picture you can see it.

I noticed that too although I focused on the fact that Jabber was next to Lilly. He's been "giving her the wing" a lot lately.

It's his mating dance. He lowers one wing to the ground and dances a half circle around the hen with his wing down. I'm trying to catch video of him doing it. Always just miss it.
