When I first saw one of my hens sun bathing I was quite alarmed thinking that been killed or injured! :hmm:lol:

My brother let his young feathered chicks out into his enclosed porch in FL and they all decided to sunbathe together. His wife came out to check on them and thought he had killed them all with the heat from the sun.

She was in tears.

Then one of the chicks saw her and they all ran to her cheeping. She was so confused!

You're up very late/early Bob! Isn't it about 1am there?

It is exactly 1 am here. I'm watching some late night college football and checking up on my chicken friends. It is definately a late night for me, but no work tomorrow, so I am indulging myself.

What time is it there?

Ten past four in the afternoon. I have to work tomorrow so I won’t be up as late as you. ;)

Ooh, distressing, but then would have been a relief!

Did you see the video I posted before of Aurora trying to find a spot to sunbathe? The was a real process to find the right spot. Cracked me up. Rays had to be just so.
