Did you see the video I posted before of Aurora trying to find a spot to sunbathe? The was a real process to find the right spot. Cracked me up. Rays had to be just so.

My brother let his young feathered chicks out into his enclosed porch in FL and they all decided to sunbathe together. His wife came out to check on them and thought he had killed them all with the heat from the sun.

She was in tears.

Then one of the chicks saw her and they all ran to her cheeping. She was so confused!

I know! How much does it look like they’ve had a stroke?!

Well, at least I'm not the only one who thinks that

Tonight the community garden had its season end potluck. The family who brooded 8 of our pullets came to visit and their middle kid is a chicken

whisperer—managed to get a few girls on the dreaded chicken swing! I was floored.

Tonight the community garden had its season end potluck. The family who brooded 8 of our pullets came to visit and their middle kid is a chicken View attachment 1945000 whisperer—managed to get a few girls on the dreaded chicken swing! I was floored.

I initially read this as “Their middle kid is a chicken” until I saw that the picture was in the middle of the sentence. I toyed with the idea of a chicken swing, not sure if my girls would use it.
