“Yep... hangin’ by the big coop...”

@Shadrach has the floors for easy clean up, I do not.

They are so cute exploring the house though. There is an inherent curiosity to them that is endearing. I almost want to see where they would go if given free range of the house.......Almost!
I guess I'm the only one thinking about the epic mess that would emerge from a meeting between robovac and fresh chicken poop... Dried ones wouldn't be a problem.

@BlueBaby thats an impressive amount of catch up reading! And I start getting overwhelmed when I have 15-20 pages to catch up on ;) must spend more time on the chicken friends here,

When I make up my mind to do something, I pretty much stick with it until it's completed.

I'm hunting around for some of those nice Barnevelder's now, but it seem's the one's that are supposed to sell them won't have any chick's until spring.[/QUOTE]
One of my hens is a Barnevelder (Janet)! I love her but she's trouble. She nearly made me late for my flight today by hiding in the tall grasses to produce her egg, which took an absurdly long time. I'm pretty sure she was just sitting on it, twiddling her thumbs, Beakbooking I guess.

Yes, that’s probably something you would need to take into consideration. ;) That and the warranty.

I swear Charlie is doing that too. I have to boot her off her egg, but she’s not making broody noises and she’s staying off the nest. Is she trying to bring the broodiness back on?! :barnie
