Slow Motion Pasta

We all know my girls love pasta. They will do almost anything for it. So today I decided to try using pasta to try out one of the camera modes on my phone that I had never used before. After a lot of missteps I finally got the shot I wanted. Here you go, Hattie leaping for pasta in slow motion! I think it's pretty cool.

Out of cellular Data at max speed until next Tuesday... so the videos won’t play I might make it down to the Farm house area and use the WiFi there on Friday... so looking forward to the chicken Roomba, slow mo pasta gobble and Chicken swing in action! Soon...

There are lots of suggestions about why chickens stop laying over the winter months.
I think it's just to remind you how lucky you are when they do.

It is a treasured gift. I will be up to my eyeballs in eggs this spring. I will try to appreciate it.

@BY Bob I'm going to be going to pick up my 3 new Barnevelder pullet's tomorrow. It will be a couple more months or so before they lay egg's though, as they hatched out on 8/13.

We need to see pictures of them. I am so excited for you. More chickens is always a fun time.

I like your reasoning. I think one could probably train a chicken not to poop in particular places. You can train them not to go into certain areas and apparently train them to do lots of other clever stuff.

Oh yes... they know they aren’t supposed to be in the battery compartment of the RV... they do get out when they are caught at it and told to (and the hay side of the barn, and the car/truck/van) but they just won’t stay out of them for me! Sneaky little trouble makers

The mini horse (Diva) is mean and tosses the sheep around. She lives on the property in the other side of the island with 2 other mini horses. And Horses eat a lot!!! We have 4 here 2 standardbred, one 1/2 draft, and one swayback retired therapy horse. But no Friesians, which is what she’s been watching videos of lately. She already “has” a sheep, Flip, the bellwether that she got too attached to during Lambing 2018, he’s a sweetie. Why she can’t like chickens like a normal person I don’t understand...
