I got Lucky

I am on the road for work. I left the house at 4:00 am yesterday flew to Atlanta had a meeting then flew to Birmingham, AL for meetings at corporate. I was wiped when I got to the hotel last night. I just crashed. Went right to sleep.

When I woke up this morning I flipped on the web came to see what the girls were up to this morning. This is what I saw.

Maleficent and Aurora did not get in the coop last night.

I will take the blame for not checking the cameras before bed. But my wife is home. It would be nice to know that if I forgot I could count on her. I'm so thankful that Aurora and Maleficent are ok.

Yet I feel like I failed them last night. If something had happened...........

That must have been a nasty surprise for you Bob!

Just as well you have such a secure run. I'm glad they are fine. Maybe they will learn that they must get in before lights out Lilly or no Lilly!

Not a good day yesterday. Has two Huskies attack the sheep and chickens. They pulled down one ewe and her leg broke and killed my lovely Ruffles.
This is my lovely Ruffles on the left with her best mate Fat Bird.

This is what she was like after one of the Huskies got her.

I would never be offended by someone offering help. I can't believe I never thought of doing that. So simple. so helpful. Please don't stop offering help if you think you can. It is one of the reasons I tell the stories.

I am so sorry. Dogs are senseless killers. They should have a worse reputation. That is very very sad.

I am hoping to cause a series of phone calls with friends and relatives where we talk about something joyous instead of the usual complaining about life. I have kept the whole adventure secret so the card suprises them. I'm ready to explode wanting to tell everyone about it!

I can hear them now. That Bob and his chickens! There is something wrong with him.
