So Happy to See Me

One if the best things about the flock is how much they love to see me. I need only go outside and they run to me. I go and sit in a chair and they all cluster around me for a while. The acceptance is heart warming and always lifts my spirits.

So here are Aurora and my big girl Hattie busting their Fluffy Butts to come see me. No food was involved in this video. I just walked outside.

I do so love watching Hattie run. It always makes me smile.

I love watching chickens run, it’s hysterical! Bessie used to sometimes flap her wings when she ran, just to get from A to B faster. Charlie’s so heavy, you can hear her coming when she runs!

Janet likes to hold her wings out and her head down when she comes zooming Mary doesn't run, she galumphs Sandy runs delucately with her head up, lifting her feet high, saying, "wait, wh... what are we running for?" she's such a philosopher, always asking why.

Fat Bird is like that. I always know when she's on the roof.

They are so funny when they run.

Since Tsuki gets out at least once a day, I'm training her to come when called. She has to think I have meal worms for it to work though

I try very hard to make sure everyone shares equally in the food, Santa, etc. I think it helps keep balance in the flock.
