They look so content there! It is a nasty wet miserable day. The Princesses have retired early. I think I might too. View attachment 2060302

Thank you. I think they are. They make nice comfy chit-chat noises as they sit there and look out of the window. It is very cute and very comforting. I do sometimes go into the coop and sit while they settle down because it is so lovely. Then of course they break the mood by pooping copiously at my feet - but hey, when you gotta go!They look so content there!
She looks like she has an umbrella.OMG that Phyllis really gets wet! Maybe you could make her a little umbrella hat!
I have missed these photos.
She is looking good!
Phyllis the chicken's voice is eerily similar. I'll try and video her bawking today.I think we all can recall what Phyllis Diller looked like but, mostly I recall her laugh.
That is so awesome. I'm so very happy for you. She’s been absolutely scoffing her breakfast and dinner, and I heard her softly trilling again today. She still sometimes looks uncomfortable but I’m wondering if that’s because she’s moulting. Poos still aren’t quite normal, but she came running up the yard in anticipation of breakfast this morning!![]()
I did the same thing... for some reason I am more concerned if the animals run out of foodI stockpiled chicken and cat food on Thursday. I get not wanting to go out now. I doubt the 'coons can beak in the palace in the meantime.
It is hardware cloth everywhere, right? I would check all the seems every morning. They will try to pull the wire up.
That is so awesome. I'm so very happy for you.
