She'll be a lot sleeker and smoother than her sisters who are moulting more slowly and sensibly. 😇
Luckily it was quite warm today but with the cold weather coming it can't be soon enough!
Lavender is all done & looking really good. So worth it. :)

It's great news that it is warmer. Anything to help her get through this. Poor baby.

Well I liked this one for being softer, more folky in sound. I'm not someone who likes background music. I hate it in shops. If I listen to music ~ I listen. I want to hear the melody & understand the words.

It depends on the type of music as to whether I listen to it wholeheartedly or prefer it in the background. If it’s an extended jazz piece I’d rather it was playing in the background in a restaurant or something (the Royal Festival Hall in Waterloo was great for listening to jazz trios whilst having a few brewskies and chatting to friends!) If it’s a song/piano piece/chamber music/orchestra, I’ll give it my full attention. If it’s a Schoenberg piece, I’d rather stick skewers under my fingernails! :th

@Shadrach , I remember you said you knew when it was time to check for lice because a rooster would walk behind a hen with his head up her bum! Is there a reason why chooks would do that if it wasn’t lice? Nyssa has been doing that to River lately (with a resulting squawk!) and I wondered if it was lice. I checked tonight and I couldn’t see any. Her skin still looks pretty red; it’s mostly covered up now she’s stopped moulting so couldn’t see until I was able to get close and she didn’t run away!

Mr. Bunny's Shadow

Mr. Bunny cut through the big run the other day. He picked up a shadow along the way. Guess who was watching him.

She watches everything.

For those that are worried, Mr. Bunny is fine. Phyllis did not take his ears.

That’s an evil-looking picture in the middle! Or maybe just dinosaur-esque.
I was just taking a picture of Mr. Bunny in the run when I caught her in the background. I didn't realize she was following him at first.

Lilly can look really mean. I love when she shoots the others that face and they just back down. She can freeze Aurora with just a look. I have watched her hold Aurora in place for minutes just by staring at her.

Here is Alice's feather progress today.

I can't believe how long the quills are getting before we see any fluff!

She is also losing the feathering on her head. She keeps shaking and scratching her head. She must be so itchy and uncomfortable poor thing.
I really cannot bear this!
