I hate to say it, but for all the bad that has come of many situations this year, a lot of really good things have happened as well. Communities are coming together, and even people who wouldn’t otherwise have been supporting and checking in with each other. There are so many positives too.

Well, my plans for the mountain trip will have to wait. My neighbor called this morning and is feeling poorly. I watch out for her, because she has no one else. Bible says to care for widows and orphans. So. that's my plan for today.

I’m about to go out and check everyone’s crop. I haven’t posted on the ER thread as there’s already lots of threads about sour crop and the advice is about the same. I may do so once I’ve checked. Plus 1ml is quite a lot, did I read that wrong? I’ve got a slender syringe that’s half a millilitre and it’s quite long; if I’m depositing 1ml under her tongue, thanks going to take a while!

It’s 0.5 - 1.0mL. I always went for the full 1mL. That should be easy in 3 squirts; just put it under her tongue so she can swallow it on her own.

And then my phone rings!

Mr. Squirrel jumps down and Phyllis chases him up the magnolia tree. He hides in the magnolia tree for a while and then scampers out of the yard.

Okay... so back out again.. four in banishment... Cutie in jail... since she puts herself in harms way! We won’t chance that again! ..... and a possible SIXTH .... there is no reason for her to be on a nest since she already laid her egg on the ground! Lord help me!!! A movie before bed?
Just went to tuck the Princesses in for the night. They were all in bed already but clearly watching something interesting. I looked out of the window but couldn’t see anything worth staying up for.
