@LozzyR is there any update on River?

Thanks Michelle, she seems to be ok. I ended up posting on the ER thread, which I saw that you saw, and two comments said it didn’t sound like she has sour crop. She may have just had something stuck yesterday. I will check crops morning and night for a week, just so I know my birds better, and give them ACV water every other day.

Thank you so much for your detailed help. :hugs I am really struggling mental health-wise at the moment so it was all becoming too much. I am taking steps to remedy this, so hopefully soon things won’t seen too bad.

Here’s a photo of them ‘helping’ today.

I am caught up at last! About 600 pages worth. It has been wonderful reading all your updates; I have cried, laughed and learnt along the way.

I asked Bob whether it would be ok for me to post some updates and photos of my flock here on his thread and he has very generously agreed. I'm going to retire my own thread and stay at Fluffy Butt Acres as I just can't keep up with all the posts otherwise.

I am working at home tomorrow so will get some time outside with my girls and will share lots of pictures. I have one doing her final night tonight in the broody jail and she will be released on probation at lunch time.

Bed time for me now, see you all in the morning.😴

We all struggle with mental health Lozzy, same as we do with our physical health.
:hugs:hugs
Those who do not are truly mad.

You do indeed! What’s holding you back?
Well that is a good question. I guess I wanted the Chicken Palace to be finished - but it is close enough. And then there was lockdown for the virus - I am sure getting chickens isn’t ‘essential’ ( but I am also sure nobody will stop me), and then it is so damn cold! I think I will start to figure it all out and find some additional Princesses!

Such good news. Well done.

That's sad. I bet that was hard to accept. :hugs :hugs
It was. The first rosella that got caught I was horrified and upset but I thought it was a freak accident.

The second time it happened I was shocked, horrified and guilty. The netting came down after that. 😥

Rosella's are beautiful birds even if they do pinch the chook's food
