but that means it will only grow a bit more before you do have to mow it! I’ve honestly been talking about a trim here as well, I’ve almost got the chickens out of the hayfield, which is just over knee high in places (thanks to said chickens and their fertilizer deposits!) but the pasture around my trailer is just as bad! The goats can’t keep up with the mowing of it, so unreliable and when I can’t see the chickens through the grass...

We've been getting drenching rain - when I was hoping it wouldn't. The grass is growing like crazy and I can't afford having someone cut it so often. If it gets "too long," they double the cost.

Kris, My little Buff O, isn't feeling well today. I just now, got back from TSC with some electrolite powder to mix with water. She's a special girl, but bottom of the pecking order, and won't eat or drink since yesterday. Pray for her please. I keep her indoors, with me.

I would suggest some scrambled egg, canned fish (salmon, herring, then tuna seem to be my girls preference) and soaked feed. I can almost always get some appetite from my special girls with that. I will keep her in my prayers. Any thoughts on what might be ailing her?
