I was worried that something had happened with the website. I did not want to offend you. We all know the grief you are experiencing now. If it helps to talk about her, I would love to hear a story about something she did.

Do you really want to hear it? She would sit on my hip and watch Animal Planet with me for hours, just to be with me. Sunshine was an exceptional bird, and a part of my heart.

she was a rescue hen from a battery cage farm. She had a deformed beak and I hand fed her for all the years of her life. more info to come

@featherhead007 so sorry for your loss

I am sure she had a wonderful life and passed peacefully overnight. With a name like Sunshine she was certainly a special girl and greatly loved. That’s what matters most in the end.
