Nor do I ! Dont pick on me today, please. I found My hen Sunshine dead on the coop floor just now, and I'm very very very upset. Her lifeless body was still warm when I took her out of the barn/coop. So, don't expect any jokes from me today, this hurts me really bad.:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hitHer eyes were closed, so hopefully, she passed in her sleep.
:hit :hugs

Something went wrong and made it look like @featherhead post about her dear Sunshine passing was my post! I don't know how BYC did this and I'm sorry if it's my fault. My post was only the two sympathy emojis at the end. :..

Howdy Y'All!!!

Sorry I've been gone so long, but I really don't like BYC on my phone. Anyways, I am back to work full time again. This is our first week of seeing patients. So far so good. All is well on the family front.

Sadly one of my lavender orp chicks died. It wasn't growing. The 3 left are THRIVING!! They are growing like weeds. I'm almost positive that I have 2 females and 1 male. I'm totally ok with that, I'm thinking I'll build them their own little breeding coop. The girls are Rose and Lily, Rose has the most feathers. Oakley is the boy, he's finally starting to grow some, I was really worried I'd lose this one too.

The 4 chicks I hatched in Anna's classroom are 3 months old now. Diamond is definitely a boy and I'm still pretty sure Sunny is too.

Our new neighbor moved in and she is the sweetest lady. Her husband passed away in August. Her daughter and family live in Perry County, so they bought a house for her to move into so she is closer to them. They entire family is wonderful!! They love the dogs, cats, and chickens!

My flocks get to free range (supervised) again!! I'm so excited!!!

That's all on my end!! I hope everyone has been well here!! I should be around much more again.
It will be so nice to have you back again. I'm so excited everything is turning in a positive. Especially the new neighbor. It is so cool to see the girls out in the yard again! Woohoo!
:wee

I have been working all hours and barely have time to check in here. I got a 20 min break and tried to make progress on the Chicken Palace pasture run (still working on the wire for security). Diana and Maggie supervised from inside the Palace.

Elizabeth is out of the shot digging a very deep hole. I think she is planning on digging all the way to Australia. She wants to visit BYC chook friends!

May 20th

May 20th has historically been a good day for the members of Fluffy Butt Acres. Let's review.

Mr. Peabody, set the way back machine for 2017.

This was one of the best chicken days ever at Fluffy Butt Acres. The yard inside the fence has grown way too high. I decided that before I cut it, I would let the ladies have at it. What resulted was a great day of grazing and napping the likes of which have never been seen again. Here are the girls, the big three in all their glory, enjoying a magnificent day in the high grass.

After a day in the high grass, naps were in order.

Of course when the day was ending, the queen needed to survey her kingdom one last time before bed.

It was a great day, May 20, 2017.

Mr. Peabody, set the way back machine for 4 years earlier, 2013.

The coop was complete and the pullets moved out of the house into it. A grand day for them. Here are 3 of the first 6 ladies to live at Fluffy Butt Acres.

OK, Mr. Peabody, let's go back to today. Set the way back machine for 2020.

Something special happened today as well. @Shadrach Noticed how she was laying in the video the other day. Sydney is broody!
