Sounds like things have improved a little for both of them. That's good. How hot is it? Does Dorothy tolerate heat well?Hi Bob. Roxy is actually doing relatively well. It was easy to get the clavamox in her. She ate a bit if baby bird food with the barium sulfate and ate regular feed. I’ll try again later with the barium sulfate. She didn’t touch the liver snack. She did do one gassy poop while she was with me... the poop was not at all black! The urates were pretty yellow, however. I think her coloring might be slightly better and she's talking. Fingers crossed. I’m amazed at the possibility that the barium sulfate might be helping. It’s meant to be a contrast agent and I can’t find an article showing it prescribed to coat and sooth the GI tract lining. If it’s going to help, though, I’m happy. She does seem to be more comfortable.
Dorothy was spry when I let them out this morning but is not so great now. She’s going to get some baby bird food with calcium in it.
